Pretty cool. I heard one of their songs the other day and was surprised they'd made it so far. I figured Lordi had the gimmick behind them, which is why they won. Guess this proves that Finland kicks ass when it comes to music.
Now if they'd just lower the damn prices on imports.

My hand to God, my 7 year old just said "I want to hear the squirrel song" when she heard me play this!!
I'd buy their stuff, language barrier and all, if it wasn't so expensive. I love this band!!!!

Yes great band, like them for a while now. Actually the singer Ahola is on an album called Northern Kings - Reborn which is a covers album. And he is with some very very good company. The other 3 on this album are
Marco (Tarot, Nightwish) Tony Kakko ( Sonara Arctica) JP Leppaluoto ( Charon)
Worth while checking it out if you like your Euro metal. Songs like Rebel Yell, Sledgehammer done metal. Hehehe

Yeah, I just found out about this album a couple days ago. I'm trying to round up a copy at a reasonable price. I love the cover of Dont Stop Believin especially since I HATE the original.

So wait...they didn't win? I read they came in 22 out of 25. That's about as last as you can get. Haha.

Actually there were 43 countries involved, and Finland was at least voted on from the "semi-finals". So they was number 22 out of 43 countries. Norway was number 5!!!!

Great song and outstanding live presentation. Why can't music be one of the areas where people here in the states start a point by saying "Well, in Europe, they....."

Slayer has won 2 grammys & Motorhead 1 here in the states.. that is good enough for me. no need to want to be like Europe. metal is still alive here in the US. you just cannot be lazy when looking for it.
