I've done some work in pro hockey and the big joke was to say that someone was traded to the other team for a bag of used pucks. At least the bats have some value to 'em.

This guy is actually gaining some notoriety for this trade.

Everyone know things suck at the low levels of the minors and this just proves it. Nice to see the guy making an appearance on shows like SportsCenter; if nothing else, at least he gets his 15 minutes of fame.

But is he bad? I thought it had something to do with customs, he couldn't get a Visa so they sort of had to trade him. He might be a good ballplayer.
