| I've heard a few of their songs, they're a bit out of my range of taste, but they're certainly interesting. They're like a slightly less weird version of Tristania. _________________ | |

| I'm not much of a fan of this genre but Draconian really stand out. Their last three albums are actually really good.
Gothic doom for people who dont like gothic doom. |

| This sounds like something I might like. I need to investigate... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I've recently got into this band and think they are awesome. I am a big fan of old school Anathema, My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost. I find Draconian play a very similar style with some excellent songwriting and very good use of female vocals although the traditional death metal vocals take centre stage. | |

It's a shame because a lot of the bands that growl have some other really great musical ideas going on but the vox ruin it for me. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| They do have a female vocalist who is a permanent member of the band. She sings quite a lot but the death vocals are the main vocals. I do think this guy has a much better death growl than others I have heard. Might be worth you seeing if you can find a couple o tracks to sample unless you really hate death growls full stop. | |

| About the most growling I can tolerate is like those on Epica's "Consign To Oblivion" or Sirenias "Nine Destinies and a Downfall". _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
