I saw that. I don't think I'm a fan of this band, but at a minimum it's going to sound awesome! Plus Devin usually brings out some sweet talents in bands.

I think they have some immense talent and a great producer will push them in ways they haven't gone before. I also think he will have them drop most of the core out of their sound.

Well, they themselves label their music as Progressive Death with "core" influences. And considering that TD was a straight up prog-death masterpiece, but then TPOF went to way tamer core sound with some pretty terrible clean vocals, I'd say this new one will be in the same veign. They've already said they are doing "more" clean vocal mixes. Hopefully better than in TPOF. Having said that, the last two songs on TPOF are probably two of my favorite BTA songs period, awesome stuff.

But the chances of them dropping out core is slim to none, since that's who they are.

It's ok with me as long as it's not the main sound. Hey, I like the last two As I Lay Dying albums too, so shoot me.

Wow a Christian band produced by a psychotic madman...I'm there. He did great with Soilwork so I'm looking forward to hearing what it sounds like.
