I have been looking for the translation to the song En Vind av Sorg by Darkthrone but couldn't find one and online translators are useless. I know we have some norwegian speakers so just wondering if any could help. Here are the lyrics -

En Vind Av Sorg
La seg tungt
omkring
De Eldstes hus
En eim av Frost
på en allerede Frossen sjel
Et savn av Hyllest
fra disse De Edle sinn
Minnes de svundne Tider
Et Hav av Tid
har gået siden Den gang
Norrøners tro og skikk
Til Skogen hjem én Kom
og trakk luften inn
Her lukter det Kristen manns blod
- igler på Våre Hjerter

Here's what I got just using a Norwegian to English dictionary

A wind of sorrow
Let her ?
Around
The Elders house
A vapor of frost
Upon an already frozen soul
A want of homage
From these The noble mind
Remember the ? time
An ocean of time
Has gone since that time
? faithful and custom
To the forest home one arrived
and drew the air in
Here the smell of Christian mans blood
? upon our heart

I am Danish, and understand most of that - Here's what I think

A wind of sorrow
Lay heavy in the air
Around the oldest' house
A vapor of frost
Upon an already frozen soul
A want of homeage ("want" is not the right word, but I can't find a fitting word in English)

From these, the noble souls
Remember the lost times
An ocean of time
Has gone since that time
Norrøners' hope and faith (it's a name)
From the forrest one arrived home
And drew the air in
Here it smells of the Christian man's blood
Sucks to our hearts

OK, here goes:

A wind of sorrow
laid heavily around
the House of the Elders
A scent (or smell) of Frost
upon an already Frozen soul
A loss (or lack) of acclaim
from these the Noble minds
Remembers the long gone Times
A Sea of Time
has passed since
The Northern beliefs and customs (or ptractice)
To the home of the Forest one Came
and breathe the air
Here it smells of Christian man's blood
- Leaches in Our Hearts

WOW, that was pathetic!

Thank you. And the lyrics are ok, but the song is WAY better.
