I've watched a few episodes of this and have chuckled at some of the in-jokes (a supermarket called "Finntroll's", etc.) but overall I too fail to see what all the whoop de doo is about.

The whole Adult Swim concept escapes me. I don't understand cartoons that are weird for weird's sake and unfunny. Perhaps its the lack of drugs in my system that hinders my understanding of the idea.

I haven't seen it recently, but I like it. Like Spinal Tap, it's obviously written by a metal fan with little in-jokes and refrences. They usually play it right after Robot Chicken, which makes for a nice little half hour of comedy.

As for Adult Swim, I agree that there is allot of turds in that pool. I've Tivo'ed many, many shows on there, trying to find something good, trying to give them a fair shake, only to come away dissappointed. Drugs may help the viewing audience.

"Robot Chicken" is some pretty funny stuff. I don't seem to "get" "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" at all though. As MetalGuy said, a lot of the "Adult Swim" stuff seems to require narcotics in order to increase viewer enjoyment, and I don't do that stuff anymore.
