Beyond Good and Evil is incredible start to finish.

Haven't played this one in a long time. Need to revisit it.

I borrowed it from the library 20 years ago when it was new and I remember thinking it was real good. Not sure why I never picked up a copy of my own.

Beyond Good And Evil is the "heaviest" Cult album IMO. It used to be my favorite but now I'm not sure which one I like more, Beyond or Electric.

I love LOVE and Sonic Temple. The only reason I don't own Electric is because of the Steppenwolf cover which sucks. But the other songs are pretty good. I should pick it up some day.
Well, now I did order the 2CD edition with both Electric and the bonus disc of "Peace" (which is the original version of the album in the LOVE style before the band decided to scrap the production and re-record everything in a more heavy style).
I've been listening to this edition, going back and forth with the two productions. The "Peace" album has helped me bridge the gap between Love and Electric. I now enjoy Electric quite a bit. Though I still hate that Born to Be Wild cover.
Peace by itself sounds a lot like LOVE at times, but is a little unfocused and the songs don't grab you as much. The Rick Rubin production made it a lot more straight forward and heavy metal (think AC/DC or Led Zep). The verses and the guitar become the highlights.

CULT’s “ Born to be Wild “. Blasting that in my car, singing the lyrics….mighty fine feeling. But the guitar solo, at that volume, will hit you hard so be warned.

It's one of the worst versions of the song I've heard.

I have it. I remember it being a decent piece of hard rock.
