| What is your favorite Christian band of musicians? Not your favorite band, but your favorite group of musicians that made music. For example, there is the Once dead era of Vengeance and then the "Roger Rising" version. Hopefully this makes sense.
Favorite # 1 is the early 91-93 Mortification lineup of Rowe, Carlisle, and Sherlock. That is one tight 3 piece. They made arguably the best Christian thrash/death metal.
My second favorite is the Weapons era Deliverance. Brown, Ochoa, Kairullah, and Hyde is just solid as hell.

| Once Dead The line-up that played Elements of Rock in Switzerland was FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC! Angelo Espino (bass), Larry Farkas (guitar), Glenn Rogers (guitar), Doug Thieme (guitar) and Jim Chaffin (drums) w. myself singing. I really wish this line-up would have been able to record a CD, but it just didn't work out like that.
Vengeance Rising The classic line-up of course: Farkas, Martinez, Martin, Thieme, Mancaruso.
Deliverance Gotta go with the first line-up: Jimmy Brown, Glenn RogersBrian Khairullah, Chris Hyde. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| seems to be a lot of posts on this site about christian metal. I'm not particularly religious myself but can iIventure an opinion that it's the music that counts and not the religious beliefs of the band. Nothing against christian metal as such, if I come across a band that plays good music then I will pay attention. | |

| Most would disagree with me on the first one, but: TOURNIQUET (Microscopic Line-up) Vocals-Luke Easter Guitars-Aaron Guerra Drums-Ted Kirkpatrick JACOB'S DREAM w/ David Taylor (Chaz ain't bad but the last one was, IMO, their weakest) SAVIOUR MACHINE Vocals-Eric Clayton Guitars-Jeff Clayton Keyboards-Nathan Van Hala I'm not as familiar enough with Christian music as I would like to be so I can't really do better than that. | |
