I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this band? I had their cd in the early 90's but lost it or something but i just was thinking about them and looked them up on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gbH6RmT_GI&feature=related

Pretty cool track!! I vaguely remember these guys... if memory serves, they were signed to the Disney-owned Hollywood Records label (along with the equally short lived WWIII, with Jimmy Bain and Mandy Lion)... they did one album and disappeared without a trace.
I came across a used copy of their CD (I believe it was called "WRENCHED") a while back and was gonna buy it but the case was beaten to sh*t and had some sort of sticky substance all over it (yuk!) so I couldn't even get it open to look at what sort of shape the CD might have been in... judging by the awful condition of the case & covers, I imagine that it was probably NOT good, so I skipped it...oh well...
By the way there's currently a self described "dark rock" band from Norway by the same name making the rounds, they have no relation to the "Wrenched" band, who were from California.

I just sent for a copy off of amazon right now. It is described as in good condition so i'll hopefully get some nostalgia coming in the mail soon.

Looking at the link, I recognize the cover. I've seen that cd in the used bins hundreds of times, but never gave it any thought. I'm sure now that I might actually look for it for purchase, it'll be nowhere to be found.

Excellent sleazy sort of metal....I have it....and dig it.
And I have an extra copy if anyone wants to trade for it.

Wow, no comments on their latest album "Heavy Metal Fruit" for me along with Tiptykon and Cathedral the best albums of 2010. Motorpsycho has never sounded as live on a studio record as on this one. Brilliant songwriting and musicianship. Almost 20 years after their debut album they still sound as hungry as a bunch of schoolboys.
