wow they have a soulful rock singer and two excellent guitarists and a under appreciated drummer too.... Hope they have the songs to go with the comparison.

Yeah i got these guys debut a while back, i think it was released in 2006 or something like that (Kerrang recommendation, they still have people writing for them that know their sh*t). Played the hell out of it. Although my only complaint is it can at times be too metally. Plus the artwork and name are pretty lame. This is a classic rock band in the making, so the external stuff needs improvement.

Officially the 2nd best rock n' roll band from Ireland at the moment.

You betcha bottom dollar on it. In fact the best contempary hard rock/rock n' roll/metal band at the moment! Un frickin' believable album Rise is. I recently indirectly turned Shiney on to them, and apparently he has been playing the album alot. Think Led Zeppelin, Free, The Faces, Humble Pie, The Black Crowes, Badlands and enough blues artists to fill the Mississippi delta!

Yeah, the samples sound great. I asked Locky earlier to price the 2CD reissue for me. Have you heard Million Dollar Reload (http://www.myspace.com/milliondollarreload)? Another great Irish rock band.

Beg steal or borrow Rise. I've only got the original version and a vinyl single for Into The Gutter. In its original form its a modern day classic.

Their first cd is the best IMO. There are similarities to Lizzy and that is about it!

Financial strain and other factors wore away at the band for the past two years. The band seemed to be surrounded by incompetent people who did not fulfill their roles.
“I don’t want to make personal attacks on anyone or get in to bitter feuds but you all know the story of the rotten apple and that’s part of what happened to Glyder. It’s a long story and as my ties to the band are deeper than music, I won’t be airing my dirty linen in public.
“I am a little sore as I put so much effort into this band but I will be taking a positive approach to the future and continuing on writing, recording and performing, blogging and doing what I do.
“I have material written for what was to be Glyder’s fourth album. I am a serious songwriter and I have chosen to make music my career so if any international bands out there want a serious player to get involved with my options are open.”

Kinane has just released a solo album, A Lifetime To Kill, in Ireland.

Good band, i still have to get their last album and maybe check out that solo album mentioned here
