We played LOTS of Foghat back in the keg-party band days as well as some Savoy Brown. They were also a staple at the summer stadium shows I frequented in my teens.

Love that song, and that whole album. My mom played that album when I was a kid. Then I confiscated it and played it some more.

Boogie motel. Boogie motel. May be sleazy, but it's cheap and it's easy. Between heaven and helll, yeah, check into the Boogie Motel.

Great band that are unfairly criticized and disrespected by "kids" these days, who just don't understand the bands musicianship and know only one song...Slow Ride! I wish I was born at a different time.

I played them to death when I was young, and kind of retired them. However one I wasn't into back then was "Rock & Roll Outlaws"; which I just got in the past year and really like a lot.

I don't think I'm gonna make it. I think I'll have too many skips and scatches and pops by then, and I'll just go straight into the trashcan. No point wasting shelf space on something so beat up, eh? Until then I'm going to "lead a disiplined existence, and play scratchy records, and enjoy my decline". Iggy Pop-"More"

Foghat - Live was one of those albums I played to death when I was a kid. I wore that record out. I have it on CD and vinyl now. Always loved the vinyl version with the cut out letters.

If you guys are into foghat, you should check out this Canadian band called Moxy. They weren't around for long (or at least with their original singer, who died after a few albums), but they put out some cool tunes. Their self-titled debut is the best. It sounds like Foghat mixed with a little bit of Triumph. Very bluesy, raw, riff-tastic rock'n'roll.

There is a thread on this and I think i made, their S/T was good with Bolin on guitar but Ridin High was there best!
