I had the first two on cassette and just picked them up on disc. Good stuff it a little goofy lyrically at time. I can respect anyone that takes on Disneyland and I like the straight ahead sound with some hints of AC/DC and glam.
Any other fans?

I dig their NO FUEL LEFT FOR THE PILGRIMS album... it's the only one of theirs that I own though.
I've been meaning to pick up RISKIN IT ALL because it's recently been reissued in the US via Wounded Bird Records.

I have No Fuel, Riskin' It All and one other one that I bought when I was in Sweden (can't remember the title).

What made D.A.D. unique in my book was the "spaghetti Western" guitars.

Anybody know what ZCMI stands for?

No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims is a very underrated album. It's great from start To finish.

No Fuel is one of those records that takes me back. Just great memories tied to that record. Plus it holds up real well even without the nostalgia.

I have most of their stuff, and like most of it. Their later stuff got VERY weird, in my opinion. Pilgrims was the pinnacle for them.

This is what i said in the previous thread about them:

No Fuel is good, not great or classic though. I love the earlier more varied cowpunk/bluespunk albums and EP's from these guys, but then again i'm a sucker for anything that's vaguely like the Gun Club, Tex And The Horseheads, Jason And The Scorchers, early X etc.
These guys are a bit of an enigma, in not just their wacky humour.
They always struck me as similar in idea to Hanoi Rocks in their 'born to lose' approach to melding so many different old styles of rock n' roll and proto-rock n' roll to something contempary like hard rock or punk, maybe its a Scandinavian thing.
Jesper's voice is similar to Claude from Finland's Smack, although without the Stiv Bators death-trip.
And his lead guitar playin' bro Jesper has a guitar vocabulary that reminds you of the countrified rockabilly twang of Duane Eddy or Link Wray one minute and the gothic crystalline neon hued tones of Love era Billy Duffy the next (although maybe those two styles have more in common than i think).
Maybe this band is the first and only example of rockabilly/hard rock crossover!

No problem. I'm not the Search-function nazi that some people are on these boards, but I do hate repeating myself.

Yeah, I did a search but put in the actual periods after each letter and I notice the thread doesn't have those. My bad.

I do notice some of you need to get a bigger size panty. Not to name any names (thrasher, eyesore) but relax.

'Sleeping My Day Away' is a really cool song. I haven't heard anything else.

Sleeping, Jihad, Siamese Twin, ZCMI, Girl Nation are my favorite cuts from No Fuel.

That's fair enough with the repeat thread with this band, because i still don't know how they put together their ever changing name. It's been Disneyland After Dark, D:A:D, D-A-D, D.A.D. etc. insane
