| I actually used the "search" trip thing and came up zippity do-da. On with it then. Knights Of The New Thunder...When this first came out, I grabbed it up and ate it up, big time. I was playing in a thrash band called Graceful Lu at the time but I have always been a sucka for "great" melodic metal. The vocal and guitar hooks on this album are sweet. Yes , there is some "fluff-o-filler" tuneage, but the quality of the other tunes cancels all that out. Anyone else pick this up when it first hit ? what were your opinions of it then and how well does it stand up nowadays? Laterz | |

| Knights Of The New Thunder is the second best heavy metal album to ever come out of Norway, only beat my the mighty debut from Artch. I love just about everything TNT have ever released, but Knights will always be my favorite. The solo in "Seven Seas" is alone wirth the price of the CD (or vinyl, as it was back in the day). Anyone here have the original Norwegian cover srt for this? _________________ | |

I saw it at a local shop in Riverside, Calif and was gonna grab it. Went back the next day and it was gone. That was 20 something years ago though. I recently got the first lp with orig. vocalist and "The New Terrortory"

| I got it after I saw them on the Tell no Tales tour with Twisted Sister (anyone remember Ronni's 3 guitar guitar solo? Coolest solo in my metal experience!). From then on, I was a TNT fanatic. One of the few bands that I actually buy everything from, new, the day of it's release.

| I like the first one alot. Very raw. But Harnell is one of the top vocalists EVER!!! So ya can't really go wrong with anything between the first and the last albums (Although Transistor still has NOT grown on me). |

| I didnt buy their debut when it first came out( i was a little to young) but no problem, bought it in 88 or 89 or so and loved it too and still do. Its still my fave TNT album. It was very much in the vein of old MAD MAX, 220 VOLT, old EUROPE, old TREAT, PRETTY MAIDS etc.....LOVE MELODIC METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| When you say debut, you mean their self titled lbum, with Dag Ingebrigtsen on vocal, right? Knights wa their second release. I just read Roni Le Tekrø's official biography. Some interesting stuff there. _________________ | |

| Sorry, I think this is only a Norwegian release, so far. I have no knowledge on wheter or not they will publish it in English. The title is "Hekta - Et Liv I Rock", but as said, this is in Norwegian. _________________ | |

I just read Roni Le Tekrø's official biography. Some interesting stuff there. Ohhh, i completely forgot about that first album, with lirics in their own language. Sound different then KNIGHTS..., more NWOBHM influenced but still good.
