There was a band in El Lay in the early to mid 80's called Ruby Slippers
I have a demo tape buried someplace ? and I believe they did a song on some comp. lp called "California's Best Metal"
they were over the top with the glam image and actually wore skirts and fishnets....looked like T.V hookers. I'm a sucker for a killa hook and a catchy riff.

This is probably the most blasphemous album ever. It's not even 80's!

Grew up with the cassette of this one - wore it right out. It was cool as it focussed on their mid-period and more on the rockish stuff and ignoring the very early Euro-pop and most of the later disco stuff. Of course this particular 'best of' is impossible to find on CD (without spending 50 bucks).

Oh, man!! It's not fruity! I LOVE this. The little man can play and at points this even has Metal elements. A true, true classic!
