JUDAS PRIEST ROCK!!!!

Just finished adding my entire Judas Priest collection to My newly purchased Ipod and was sitting here listening to them thinking how great is this band. Haven't listened to them for a while due to the stupid amount of CD's I keep buying and having so much to isten to.

Sometimes you need to appreciate the CD's you've already got. I can't believe I haven't listened to them for ages, fees like i've discovered a new band again.

Favourite album has to be Painkier, closely followed by Screaming for Vengeance.

Whats eveybody's favourite?

Defenders is my very favorite studio album, but overall my fav is probably Unleashed.

Yes, you are right, its important to appreciate the cds/lps you already got and be one with your music collection. And yes, JUDAS PRIEST ROCKS!!!!

Stained Class for me! STAND BY FOR EXCIIIIIIIIIIIIITERRRRRRRRR!

Priest are the foundation upon which my metal-ness is based. (Is "metal-ness" a word?) They were the first metal band I heard, they were my first metal concert, they have always been there crankin' out the good stuff. Occasionally they've taken a detour into Weirdsville just like any other long running band (i.e. "Turbo" and "Demolition") but overall their catalog is frighteningly solid, amazingly cool, and mostly untouchable. Judas Priest > Everybody else.

Fanboy rant over.

Fave album: Today it's "Stained Class" but if you ask me again tomorrow it'd probably be something else... I love'em all.

And I second TrogDawn's suggestion that you check out Halford's solo catalog immediately, if not sooner, if you haven't already. RESURRECTION is the best Judas Priest album that Judas Priest never made. I would also heartily recommend his first post-Priest outing, Fight's WAR OF WORDS. (The second Fight album, though? Mmmm...not so much.)

Sin After Sin is not only the best Judas Priest album, but also the greatest album ever. i love it.

I believe the word you are looking for is "Metalization" my good man.

Hard to pick an absolute favorite. Probably would have to be between these for me...

I love Stained Class, I love Sinners as well. I can't say not to Defenders of Faith nor Screaming for Vengence. PainKiller ROCKS as well. hmmmmmm Angel of Retribution and Jugulator are good ones as well. So are Ram It Down, Demolition and Turbo along with British Steel, Killing Machine Rocka Rolla and Point of Entry
