Their one of the best Japanese metal bands around, next to Loudness. For those who haven't heard about them, you guys should really check them out. Graham bonnet even did an album with em back in 2000!
Heres some Youtube Vids of them. Anthem kicks ass!
Yup - Absolute LEGENDS!!!! And I love the Bonnet album. Excellent collaboration!
But, then again, if ya know me, I am a sucker for ALL Jap metal. If you got some originals you want to trade, SkySplitter, I can be quite generous. PM me, if ya have the desire.

I love collection J - metal Cds and Vinyl (Though I barely have a vynal collection anymore). I have a few "Official"Cds, from bands like Loudness, Earthshaker, Anthem, Blizard, Bow Wow, and a few more. Unfortunately, There usually really expensive, so I can't buy as many as I'd like to have. Money is short these days...

so you're getting stuff from these bands? is that your real age? yeah, pretty difficult anymore. i can't believe what prices are carrying masterpieces like breeze least, hellen, sniper, yoke of steel/prowler, rug, ageless, sabbrabells, ex danger, paranoia, wolf, belzebul, saber tiger(early), vanishing point etc these days.thank god i'm only missing one olde japanese 7" . some day i'll find it. and i don't like much the bands you listed there. and i bet you that you could find their vinyls for peanuts. look for them instead the cds.

yeah Im really 15, possibly the only Teenage metalhead in all Michigan hehe. Right now Im concentrating on completing my Loudness and Anthem collections, so Im not really looking for much more J-metal than that right at the moment. Hopefully one day I'll have a complete collection of J metal though, but it doesnt look likely hehe

I just ordered the band's latest release titled Nucleus on cd. I believe this is a re-recording of some of the band's best tracks. Looking forward to giving this album a spin.

Finally got my copy of Nucleus, after reordering it!
Had i been aware of this album last year, it would have easily been among my top 5 releases for 2019.
Lots of memorable tracks on this one, especially Venom Strike (isn't it a re-recorded version?).

Anthem's "Bound to Break" album from 1987 popped up in my YouTube recommendations this afternoon, so I'm listening to it as as I write this... I'm diggin' it.
Anthem is one of those bands I've always heard much about but I never actually heard until today.
I am officially intrigued. So what other Anthem albums should I investigate?

Don’t get too excited about Anthem, in my opinion. They rock. And all the rest of it. I’m sure they must have a top release. I bought “ Ultimate Best Nexus Years “ 2 CDs. It’s okay...
