| My job won't allow some of the traditional metal stylings and I only have a few band t-shirts so I'm very un-metal in appearance. I do have a Die Happy tattoo with smiley face and cross bones! | |

| i stopped dressing Metal when i was about 20. I just go for a casual look but occasionally find myself in Jnco shorts with a Metal hoodie on. I think i go the casual way because i look so much more mature and ppl tend to take me more seriously.
When i used to dress metal right away i was a pothead and ppl tended to be very stereotypical of me.. | |

| I cut my hair in college strictly because it was a horrible curly mess. As I mentioned in another thread, I looked like Fred Coury from Cinderella. I wish my hair was straighter so it would grow long instead of out like an afro. As for my clothing, at home, I'm a jeans & t-shirt kinda guy. For work, it's black pants and either a black sweater or a black 3-button shirt. Aside from my bluejeans, the majority of my wardrobe is black, with a few gray or dark purple dress shirts for formal occasions. Black leather sports coat and some highly-shined combat boots or a pair of Sketchers complete the ensemble. As I got older, I realized that it's more about my attitude than how I dress, but I guess my outward appearance still gives off a "metal" look. | |

| I look so un-metal nowadays that when people look through the CDs on my desk the reaction is often "You listen to THIS stuff?" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I have never looked the part. I mean, I've never donned the jean jacket with patches and whatnot, no bullet belts for me either. And I hate tight jeans to this day! I grew up in a ghetto, had a lot of black friends, so I think my style of dress is more urban than anything. Big t-shirts, baggy jean...with a belt, always! Never have I had to hold my pants up when I walked. I can't believe morons do that. And my hat has never been worn skewed to the side. Nor do I talk like I'm from the ghetto. But my style is baggy jeans and t-shirts mostly. But I've been known to bust out the button-down shirts, too. Totally unmetal. In Korea me and my roommate started wearing these flashy button-down shirts on Friday nights. It quickly became known as PDS Friday, which stood for Pimp Daddy Shirt Friday, and a ton of dudes wore them. It was pretty funny. It never caught on in England, though, and I looked like a fag, so that ended. For instance: Me (in a PDS) with a Russian juicy girl. |

| I don't really dress "metal", I just dress comfortable. For me that is jeans, a t-shirt and the occasional leather vest. I have tons of metal tees, and that's what I usually wear, though sometimes I wear body building cloths. I have long hair which I almost always wear down, except at the gym when I wear it in a ponytail. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I wear band t's but i wear i sweatshirt jacket most of the time. A lot of other metalheads at my school wear the denim/leather jacket. I don't. I also don't wear jeans, never owned them, I wear the cargo shorts. I have really long hair, so I usually wear it in a pony tail. | |

| I don't really wear all that metal clothing. Admittedly, trousers wise I tend to stick to jeans (unless it's summer - then it's shorts, sandals and a general hobo look), but when it comes to t-shirts and jumpers and what not, I seem to wear band t-shirts less and less. Really, the most metal thing about my personal style is the long hair. And that's not really a metal thing - I'm just a weirdo who likes long hair. Oh actually, I wear a leather jacket quite a lot. That's vaguely metal. _________________ | |

| The pictures of me I've shown on HOM is how I am. I wear metal/rock t-shirts, jeans, and boots. Occasionally I will wear my leather pants or my gothic dress shirt but I just feel most comfortable in jeans & t-shirt. I almost always have a beard of some sort because I hate the way I look clean shaved and I hate shaving. As for my hair, I like the way I look with long hair and hate the way I look with short hair so I try to keep it longer (although once I start looking for a career I may have to cut it again-I hope not). I do wear shorts but don't wear any tank tops anymore unless I'm outside in the summer heat for long periods of time (which I'm usually not) and even then I might just wear a light colored t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. When it's cold I am never seen w/o one of my leather jackets (unless it's freezing, then I wear my old letterman jacket from high school). | |
