so, tell me...out of these, who are your favourite?
What is it that you like about one guitarist over they other? Do you think one is a better guitarist? Is it just a personal preference based on their personality?
Yeah, most of them are just personal preference. For
example, KK Downing/Glen Tipton - They are both extremely talented guitarists,
and both have their unique techniques. I love them both, but I always seemed to
relate and like KK Downing a bit more...just out of personality, and just
seeing him on stage. With the AC/DC for example, it's also because of personal
preference, but I also think that Malcolm is EXTREMELY underrated. Angus is
sadly the face of the band, which is okay for whacky stage shows, but a lot of
the cool boogie-riffs and vibe we owe to Malcolm - Without him, we would not
have those classic riffs like TNT and Back in Black. And I just always, for
some reason, thought that rhythm guitarist were the most interesting to watch
on stage...same goes for KK, while they both do rhythm and lead parts, I just
really enjoy watching him on stage (and the others, of course). There is
nothing basing on how technically good I think each individual guitarist
is.
