| was wondering if anyone has any cds from this band.
I have heard great things and seen some great reviews of this band and was wondering what u guys think of them.
I hear they are along the power metal lines with some progressive elements as well and have also been compared to one of my new fav bands Steel Attack | |

| LOVE them!
To me they take pre-NIME Blind Guardian and "raise 'em". They are simply fantastic speedy powermetal and to me the singer could fill in nicely for BG if Hansi were to quit/die....
While early to mid BG might slow down and sing nice Elvish campfire songs (which I like sometimes) Persuader never let up off the throttle. I like that even more!
Have you heard Dark Empire - Distant Tides? The same guy sings and it's that same great soung.... | |

| They sound kinda like a thrashier Blind Guardian to me. The lead singer sounds like Hansi Kursch if he were severely over-caffeinated.
Funny you bring these guys up today, cuz I just arranged to trade off my old promo copy of their EVOLUTION PURGATORY disc a little while ago to another board member...
Their vocalist is also in the band Savage Circus, with Piet Sielck from Iron Savior and former BG drummer Thomen Stauch.

| Start from the beginning and work towards now.....they are all superb. I've noticed we like a lot of the same bands so I'm comfortable saying you'll like them all. If you like Pre-NIME BG you'll like this..... | |

The only one I've heard was the aforementioned EVOLUTION PURGATORY. It's pretty good but after owning it for a coupla years and rarely listening to it, it was deemed "not a keeper"

Scott did you ever check out the band Freternia ? they did a split CD with Persuader back in 2000 and have released 2 albums, I perfer Freternia to be honest.
. i remember when i used to use limewire punched in power metal and seen a band called Freternia i dl it and it was awesome. I remember the singer having a lil higher voice then i would like but thats being picky the song went if i remember Please dont go, dont follow her voice? Something like that in chants | |

| just did a little researcn at rocktonia.com as they have almost every bands cds to preview and found the song was called The Dark Side from Freternia killer song | |
