Elvenking - Winter Wake, Wyrd
Cage - Hell Destroyer
Rob Rock - Holy Hell
Angra - Temple Of Shadows
Antestor - The Forsaken
Ultimatum - Into The Pit
Wuthering Heights - Far From The Madding Crowd
Brainstorm - Liquid Monster
Falconer - Northwind, Grime vs Granduer...ah heck...all of Falconer!
Iced Earth - The Glorius Burden
Sonata Arctica - Silence
Silent Force - Worlds Apart, Walk The Earth
Ensiferum - Iron
Allen Lande - The Battle
Dagon - Paranormal Ichthyology
Nocturnal Rites - ALL

Impellitteri - Pedal To The Metal (yes! I said it!!)
Dark Moor - Tarot, S/T, Beyond The Sea, etc....
Crescent Shield - The Last Of My Kind (vying for #1 on the "short" list)
I could go on and on...that's what I could think of off the top of my head.
I'm getting into Melodic Metal/Rock and shifting back to Traditional Metal and Thrash so that list could have some updates in 6 months.
All the Death Metal I love was born in the 90's.....

Other notables:
Angel Dust - Enlighten The Darkness (2000) Rob Rock - Holy Hell (2005) Theocracy - s/t (2003) Primal Fear - Seven Seals (2005) Beautiful Sin - The Unexpected (2006) Firewind - Between Heaven and Hell (2001) Sabaton - Attero Dominatus (2006)
There are loads more that I really like, but these would be the "cream of the crop" for me.
