seen this before... i'll stay out of the biblical debates. i leave stuff like that to my wife. she enjoys it.

on a side note... Penn & Teller are annoying.

Just like my friends above, I stay out of debate too.

Not to get into religous debate (it accomplishes nothing and causes tempers to flare) but there are a large amount of historians and scientists that would argue with those who made that video. Everytime someone has "revealed" Bible fallacy, some time later someone else finds evedince to debunk it. It does boil down to faith, but many parts of the Bible have been found to be historicaly accurate.

Remember when scholars claimed that the Hittites never existed because they were only referred to in the Bible and nowhere else?

Then archaologists uncovered the ruins of Hittite society..... Oops.

I like Penn & Teller, but sometimes with their show "Bullsh*t", they come off as too smart for their own good. I enjoy when they point out hyprocracies and fallacies about mainstream beliefs and customs. Much like Michael Moore's films, I think it's fine that they encourage people to ask questions and maybe think of things differently and not accept things blindly. Both P&T and Moore are very heavy-handed and biased with their opinions as well. They are certainly pushing their own agenda so it's hard for me to take them too seriously. But I do find it entertaining.

I agree 100%. They even found Noah's Ark.

You know, I pretty much agree... but if you're making a point don't use terms like bullsh-it and say everything in a arrogant condesending tone.


Although I actually think the Old Testament Bible is for the most part true, I just don't take it literally. Try reading Shakespare literally, it doesn't make sense.

Also, I might be wrong about this, but after Jesus was crucified and the New Testament was written, wasen't it intended to take the place of the Old Testament for what you should follow?

Thats what I think anyway, everyone else in the world will have a different opinion i'm sure.
