As much as I love em... KISS should've just taken the hint when the pandemic cut their "End Of The Road" tour short three years ago.

No-one. Why would I as a consumer wish to have my options limited? I can just opt not to hear/buy their product.

I agree with Freddy, Kiss.

I also agree that KISS should hang it up. And I don’t think the “brand” should continue without any original members as Gene and Paul have shown interest in.

I think it’s lame how they have snubbed Ace and Peter for the subordinate hired guns. I’m not sure about Peter, but Ace had cleaned up his act several years ago and still can play well. He should have been invited to take back his position. I have no problem with Eric Singer on drums… he’s much better than Peter and has a long history in the band (since the Revenge album). But for the Hall of Fame ceremony, all the original members should have played together.

(IMHDO) If a band isn't recording new music and/or they fake it onstage . What is the point? It is time to call it a day.

The past few major tour touring ensembles I have attended were more emphasis on spectacle than musical performance. As a musician, that concept should not be how it works.

It’s a sad state of affairs when a band is comfortable ripping fans off with a faked performance. Even if the fans are willing to pay… it’s still lazy and pathetic! And an undeserved cash grab.

It’s not like KISS is a modern computer enhanced type of band. They are supposed to be an old school, old fashioned rock band. Not Linkin Park or NIN.

I am so kewl with seeing bands actually play & sing. Notice I did type, "and/or fake it onstage" in the post you quoted.

Anymore, watching a cover or tribute band play n a dive bar/club beats what passes for "concerts" nowadays. Of course (IMHDO), and there is the occasional exception.
