Everyone probably knows the drill by now? Favorite band, tune, or album that begins with "D".

DED ENGINE - the 1985 album. I bought the record upon first hearing the song "Kings of the City" on a College radio metal show on Sunday night. There was this special record store ROCKET RECORDS about 15 miles away. I bought all my cool records from there back in the day.

I have that album! I can't even remember where or why I bought it.

If we were on the letter "Z", this would work great.

Didn't you mention that it could be a favourite band?

Yes, and one would figure the reply would be "Bruce Dickinson"? When band, tune, or album is asked starting with "D" and someone posts a song that starts with "M". It appears they are putting focus on the tune and not the band/artist? Now we know you are talking about "D"ickinson and not the actual song in the video posted. Don"t see the point of putting a random tune as an answer a specific question? Afterall, the question wasn't, "if you pick a band, put random/ favorite tune in post"

In terms of bands, Dark Angel or Death. In terms of albums, Darkness Descends (from Dark Angel) is the clear winner.

The band is D.A.D. That doesn't qualify for a thread that says favorite band, album or song beginning with "D"???

Gilbert & Toho:
I asked for one thing (out of three) and you technically gave two (song and band). It is obvious the bands started with" D". So carry on, why should I make it so black and white?
