I listened to their greatest hits the other day.
Been awhile. I thought the cd was just okay.
They were really a fun 80s bar band that jammed.
Dave M had a strong voice too.
The songs that jumped out…..
Summertime Girls and Mean Streak.
Any thoughts on them ?

They're one of those bands I've always meant to dig into, but have still never gotten around to it.

I owned the Ten album on cassette back in the day (cut-out bin find), but it's been so long since I heard it that I can't even tell you what it sounded like anymore.

The main guy Dave Meniketti is great on guitar, but I’m not a big fan of his vocals. Think Sammy Hagar (with less range).

Love me some Y&T. I only own the comp the Ultimate Collection and Black Tiger as of now. I hope to add more to the collection eventually.

I own all their albums - including their first two when they went by the name "Yesterday And Today" - and they are all good to great.

I highly recommend their first three albums as Y&T - Earthshaker, Black Tiger and Meanstreak.

I saw them live a couple of years ago and Dave still sounds great.
