| I like it. Has a Badlands vibe to it. No album is worth that much money. Has to be a mistake. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Yea, I dig that album too. The track "Shades of Purple" is a freakin' monster!

| Great disc, I wish there was more Christian music in this vein. | |

It's funny because I like Badlands. I just never could get into this one though. I guess it came across as a 'generic' Badlands to me. |

| GREAT album, but if I thought I could get that kind of money, I'd have no problem parting with it. | |

No kidding, it actually had Badlands rhythm section.

If I'm not mistaken, Badlands bassist Greg Chaisson and drummer Jeff Martin were actually part of the project. I think it's every bit as good as Badlands. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I actually like Red Sea better than Badlands. Whatever happened to Robyn Kyle Basauri anyway? I loved his vox in Die Happy, and Red Sea's BLOOD CD took the blues-rock style that Die Happy was leaning towards on their second CD and refined it. That second DH album had its hit or miss moments but BLOOD was solid all the way through. Oh, wait, I forgot we're not supposed to use the word "solid" to describe bands/albums anymore

Oh, wait, I forgot we're not supposed to use the word "solid" to describe bands/albums anymore After Once Dead did our original "reunion" concert we were asked to play the HM stage at Cornerstone. Doug had the idea to make the Cornerstone show half Vengeance Rising and half Die Happy. He contacted Robyn to see if he would be interested. I think he's retired from music and just taking care of his family. In any case, it didn't work out so we just did all Vengeance songs at Cornerstone. I had worked on the vocals for "Cage" by Die Happy to sing it, but it never happened. Would have given me a chance to sing in a whole different style. FYI, Unless my memory is incorrect, I believe Doug told me that Die Happy only ever performed live once. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

They only played live once? That's a shame. I always thought they were one of the better Christian HM acts out there in the early 90s. Loved the first album especially, but both of their studio albums (and the "Intense Live EP") all get regular play around my house to this day

of his family. Family?........hah!! What's family when the Metal Masses need your voice?????? That's cool, of course, that he's so family oriented. Just wish there was a way for him to get his voice out there w/out much time away from his family. For some people though, no matter what, it's just time to move on........

| He could of just flown in for the one show. I don't think that would have been asking much of his time. I think he just doen't want to perform anymore. Too bad, he was a great singer... up there with both Badlands and Deep Purple. | |

Sure he could've, but knowing Cornerstone, all at his cost!

Sure he could've, but knowing Cornerstone, all at his cost! It was Doug's idea so the band would've pitched in don't ya think?
