Avenger of Blood re-recording

Before the pandemic started, the band reformed yet again. It has taken us awhile to get things going which included us building our own rehearsal/recording studio. After completing that I had gotten the original files back to our debut album which were totally sabotaged by the original engineer. I can go into detail, but I won't because it will just reignite that burning anger I have had concerning it. I had initially wanted to remix and remaster it and put it back out with a live DVD we had filmed professionally. But that all went to hell... so the bassist thought we should just re-record it. So over the last 2 years, that is exactly what we have been doing. Relearning the songs myself and the other guys learning all the material. We are now finally at the vocal recording process and it sounds really really good (so far). So we should have it out later in the year. Not rushing it at all though. We just started recording vocals this last weekend so we should be done in about a month. We only can record a few hours on weekend which is why it is taking so long.

But we are working on brand NEW stuff as well that far exceeds all my expectations! I haven't been this happy with the band since 2008!

I remember buying Death Brigade when it came out in 2008 along with something else that I can't remember. It was solid album. Good luck on the re-recordings.

What a strange coincidence…

Both Temple and Avenger “of Blood” are becoming active again at the same time (after a very long hiatus). The irony is more than just the name similarity.

I guess its the year of the "Of Bloods" LOL

We've been active for years playing shows and juggling lineup changes, only just now have a new album coming soon.

Having said that, it's good to see that AoB is back!

(I'm up for an all "Blood" themed fest)

I was mainly referring to your (long awaited) new album release. AoB is more of a surprise comeback.

I like the idea of a “bloody” Ultimatum fest.

That could be their alternate band name they use under disguise. Kinda like how Gwar had their other band X-Cops.
