Got some crazy but good news tonight...

Something happened to me tonight that Iv'e been waiting for to happen since I was 16. Im now 49.

In 1963, my unwed parents had a baby boy. My great grandma didn't want that stigma on my family and she ran the family. She made my mom go away for 9 months and put the baby up for adoption. This would haunt my mom the rest of her life.


Well, I had a zoom call with my siblings tonight and my brother found our long lost brother on ancestry.com. Now at least we can tell him our mom didn't want to give him up and supposedly he wants to meet us all.

Hasn't been a lot of good news in my life lately. Nice to see something good happen.

That's really cool. Gotta be crazy finding a sibling after so long. Did you know he was out there?

Thanks, everybody. I talked to my new brother on the phone last weekend for half an hour.

It's a little weird to be asked. "So tell me about mom." It must be even crazier for him.

I will finally be meeting my brother the first week of December. Can't wait.

This is the coolest thing. So happy for you!

So I got to meet my brother earlier in the month. He was a supremely good guy and so is his girlfriend. It was like he was always a part of our family. Only problem is he had no clue what was going on when we talk about our family members no longer with us. It would been nice if he would've got to meet my.mom.

Overall A plus experience.
