Marsha Zazula , co-founder of Megaforce Records with Her husband Jon, has passed away at the age of 68 from cancer. A very important figure in the history of heavy metal music, it's tragic to hear of her passing. R.I.P.

Awwww that's a shame.

She and Johnny Z. were at the first show I ever went to at the Birch Hill in New Jersey, an "Old Bridge Metal Militia Reunion" gig with Raven and Anvil. They presented Jon and Marsha with a plaque to commemorate their contributions to underground heavy metal, or something like that. It was all very silly, of course, but the crowd was full of beer so we cheered for them like they were Charles and Lady Diana. Laughing very hard

Before they left the stage, Marsha held up the award and said, "Fuck this - WE salute YOU!" like a true rocker chick.

I do remember seeing / reading their names together. Smiled.
