I posted this after spending an entire day playing UDO and Saxon material.

I love both actually. This poll is just for the fun.

I noticed Biff Byford has a solo CD out. “ School of Hard Knocks”.
I have to tell yeah, I’d like to check that one out.
He’s in his late 60s. Looks pretty cool still.
UDO hasn’t aged well. Seems heavier. Slower.
And his last video....smiling ...in a studio....with symphony musicians ?
But if i had to choose between the two = UDO
I do consider Biff a tremendous lyric writer / melody finder.
But UDO brings the muscle and guitar crunch and anger.

The new UDO is great glower. I too was taken back by the symphonic elements at first, but i ended up digesting the music.

That said, i hope UDO's next album will be pure metal worship, just like the good old days.

Out of the two, I gotta go with UDO.
