Crillson ?

Anyone familiar wit this band? I was just searching through
metalpage.de's Collectors Ring and I found a top 10 CD rarity list by
some German guy, including some of the stuff I've never even heard of!

Metal-Archives says that they are a US power metal band and that the
album was released in 1993 ... There's also one copy on ebay, but I'm

P.S. - the Kryst the Conqueror disc seems to be bootleged, and it's
said to be a Christian metal, so anyone with more information about
them?

Also, Harlet, Invader, Sanctum??

Can't say as I've ever heard of these guys (and I sure as s**t wouldn't pay THAT kind of money for something!).

The Kryst The Conqueror EP was released to very little fanfare in 1990, a rather mysterious album that seemingly no one knew much about. In fact this was the metal band formed in 1987 by Jerry Only and Doyle, brothers and former members of the infamous punk band Misfits. They hired noted Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist Jeff Scott Soto to sing for them (as he was still under contract with Yngwie, he was billed as Kryst The Conqueror himself) and an entire album, Deliver Us From Evil was recorded, but for some reason the album was not released as such, instead five songs from that recording were released as the self-titled EP. Though they never played live and in essence were a band in name only, Kryst The Conqueror survived until the mid-nineties, when the two brothers went back to the reformed Misfits. The songs on the EP are interesting and not bad at all -- not really punky (though pretty raw in places) and certainly nothing like the Malmsteen material that Soto was a part of at the time.

I got the Crillson mp3s a while ago ... and all I can sey is "wow"!! Great US power metal with some thrashy parts, not unlike Carbide - Spiral Termination or Visitör. Still not worth $300

That Sanctum is said to be even rarer, only 100 copies were pressed!

I've not heard of these guys.

A relatively unknown German power metal band I would recommend is ENOLA GAY. They have three albums out, the last on Century Media. Great band.

seriously who would pay three hundred big ones for that!

i have the crillson cd and bootleg vinyl. great pure US power metal..i have also kryst the conqueror....i never like it (i never expected after all from some panks to play really good heavy metal)...and definately has the worst performance of mighty jeff scott soto.....

not even I would pay that much and that's saying something LMAO

There was something funny about the KRYST EPs, I think Denis Gulbey from Sentinel Steel told me they were pressed at wrong speed.
