Arsames

Did anyone hear about the story involving the Iranian metal band Arsames? Sad stuff.

Yes that's too bad. Those bands deserve our love, support and respect.

I am familiar with many bands from the Middle East and own lots of their albums. Very talented artists.

I read this at metal injection. It totally sucks. But a lot of the middle eastern countries feel this way about metal. Or western music in general.

In my part of the world, metal has always been a dirty word. But it never went that far. It was only about seizing metal music records/merchandise and issuing warnings.

But this is no longer the case. Metal is much more accepted now, and gigs were happening regularly until the Covid-19 lockdown. Grave, Onslaught and Destruction were the last to perform live.

They should put some of those crappy pop artists in prison.
