Anybody like this band?

They released a new album "Phoenix" last Friday:



I didn't hear it myself, but I do have their Prophecies CD. Picked it up new for something like €2 from a discount bin back in the day. I was very surprised. Excellent neo-classical metal. Tasty compositions, speed and melody. Strong, masculine lead vocals. Something I play every now and then when in the mood.



There's Yngwie vibes for sure.

I had one of their albums a looooong time ago (I have no idea what the title was anymore). Got it for free from a reporter friend who was dumping a bunch of his promos. Listened to it once or twice, didn't dig it, passed it on to someone else.

Neoclassical style yes. Not familiar with new cd's.  Give it a listen.

I have the two early releases with Stephen Fredrick on vocals from 98' & 99' I played them a lot back in the day.

I like Stephen's work in Firewind also + Brian Harris is on drums. Brother of Michael Harris guitarist of Darkology and Thought Chamber.  Excellent imho

Did not notice this topic when it first came up - but want to chime in and say the new Kenziner is excellent.
A bit different than the early releases in that the keyboard quotient is way up in the new music, but not to any detriment to the heaviness of the sound. There is a new vocalist on this album and his voice is as strong as his predecessors.
Jarno Keskinen guitar work is still killer. You can hear how he was a part of the David T. Chastain's http://www.leviathanrecords.com/ label. His playing gets more intricate with each release.
Definately worth checking out.
