Brasilian bands everyone should know : Dorsal Atlântica

This band was very important in the middel 80's altought in their first 2 albums the language adopted was portuguese . After a while they started singing in english and the music got more intricated and then , mor ehardcore influenced until break up in 2000 or so .


They returned in 2012 as far as I know singing in portuguese again , but I heard many poeple wordlwide know and respect their music and legacy ...

I only like Sepultura's first 5 full lenghts and the first EP . they "died" in 1993 to me . Dorsal Atlântica is a fantastic band that I actually still didn´t explore as much as I "should" but I'll soon do such ...

I remember these guys. When Sepultura first started making waves in the U.S. suddenly all the underground 'zines were featuring other Brazilian/South American acts like Dorsal Atlantica, Mutilator, MX, Sarcofago, etc.
