I could never understand why Fear of the Dark was never that popular among Maiden fans. I believe it has some of the best tracks the band has ever written.

Be quick or be dead, from here to eternity and the title track are simply fantastic.

And the "bad Bruce" singing style on that album makes me cringe.

I feel it really should have been higher. From top to bottom 7th Son is their most consistent release. Clairvoyant is a killer track and a personal favourite, but it feels wrong to pick individual tracks as standouts when the whole thing flows so well.

Yeah, that album doesn't really have any weak moments. Solid stuff from beginning to end. Clairvoyant is my all time favorite Maiden track.
