My friend and I have had an ongoing argument over what WE consider the greatest true thrash song ever. He says Whiplash - I say Piranha. Now, I already know you all will chip in your two cents about YOUR opinion on said topic. But, if you HAD TO [gun to head] pick one of these two, which would it be? I will accept defeat, if that is what your votes tally.
I picked Whiplash from the choices, but I prefer Metal Militia! It’s tight and fast with Hetfield’s original high gain Marshall tone. He was never able to achieve that sound again after his amp was stolen.

Piranha out of those two. If you had put Fight Fire with Fire, then that wins. Whiplash was good for the time, but it hasn't aged well IMO.

Out of those two it's Piranha. It's at least my favourite Exodus song. Not that I even know all of them.
