U.S. Postal Serice

So, I stopped by the local record shop yesterday to pick up the last disc I had on layaway. The owner, a woman in her 60's named Linda (she's owned it since 1989) said that Friday morning two men (postal service "agents") visited the store. They showed their badges after identifying themselves and then asked her if she sells on Ebay. She said "no" and they asked why not? It seemed to her like the postal service is trying to drum up business for themselves since the deal with Amazon is expiring, A very odd interaction overall that lasted about 15 minutes. Anyone else hear anything like this?

I started reading this like there were some agents on a secret, possibly government ran, business of bullying small business owners. But sounds like it's just sales reps trying to sell their product (logistics). Like common door to door solicitors.

I know. It was just really weird.

Even though that is pretty weird, they probably were going to talk to her about parcel pick ups which means if she does sell stuff on ebay she could just request a parcel pick up and her carrier could pick the stuff up at her store. Amazon isn't going away from the post office for a while. Some places have lost it but not all, depends on the area etc.
