First 2 The Cult albums ...

I like both , but I prefer live versions of them ...

Electric for me was always the stand out album. Still my favorite by them.

I agree.  And I'll put the first three tracks from "Electric" up against just about any other album's first three tracks.   I always listen to that trio of songs together.

Electric was great , but it was their 3rd full lenght . The first 2 ones where "Dreamspace" and "Love" , which where in Gothic Rock territory ...

Didn't know about Dreamspace. I had Love and didn't care for it, I assumed it was the first and Electric was the second. Oh well, still my favorite. Sonic Temple was OK but a bit of a different direction.

Love is one of my favourite records by any band.

I actually enjoy Sonic Temple more than Electric too.

I never cared much for their first 2. I never really understood that goth stuff, from them or any other band for that matter. I like Electric, but Sonic Temple was my jam.

I wore this as a pajama top - last night !

Sonic Temple was my go to until Beyond Good and Evil. That album slays.

BGE is a great album!

I also really, really, love Beyond Good and Evil. I think it might even have the strongest overall set of songs, with maybe not the highs of other albums, but no lows. I LOVE this album.

The only Dreamtime (not Dreamspace, fellas) song I know is "Spiritwalker" due to its inclusion on the High Octane Cult hits compilation. It's OK, but I've never felt particularly compelled to track down the rest of that album.

I'm good with all the albums from Love thru Beyond Good and Evil though. I lost track of 'em after that.

From the first two albums I would go with Love. I just think the songs are better. As far as favorite, it would be a toss up between Electric and Sonic Temple.

If you haven't, check out Hidden City as it's a quality album.

I agree on that 100% Sonic Temple is the cd that put them on top. Beyond Good And Evil is excellent! Came out maybe a little to late for mass acceptance, But still a killer cd..

Oh yeah , it´s called "Dreamtime" , sorry , a mistake . But it´s a good record , but my fave by them is still Electric . Their more recent material is good stuff too .

I bought RARE CULT about 15 years ago for about 30 bucks.
Electric - was recorded in a - Love - type sound and was called "Peace"
They scrapped the idea - and rocked it.

Yeah, this is me too. On both accounts.

Beyond Good and Evil is definitely a good one, too. Electric and Sonic Temple were more heavy metal / hard rock / cock rock, and then BGAE was a slight return to the more gothic LOVE style. Only a lot heavier.

Sonic Temple is a masterpiece. Saw them open for MetallicA on that tour also. I just got Beyond Good And Evil the other day and am really enjoying it.

Sonit Temple marked a slight return to the Gothic sound as well compared to "Electric" , I like both albums anyways .
