So the weird thing with this band is I started streaming them on Google Play and fell in love with the album. Then I started watching the music videos and they almost sank everything. Ever have that happen to you? Anyway, overbaked Alice Cooper aesthetics aside, her voice is way to awesome to pass up, reminding me of Leather Leone. The music borders on overly commercial so it constantly loses me, but it's just raw enough to keep me back in. In short, I have mixed feelings, but she is rather unique for these days. Thoughts?

I was really into her and the band Sister Sin and was quite disappointed when they announced they were breaking up.
That being said, I haven't really been too keen on her solo stuff. Not really sure why. The little I heard was ok, but didn't have the grit and sleaze of Sister Sin.

Ah, so this is the infamous frontwoman for Sister Sin. Y'know, I don't believe I've ever heard a single track from them. Time to dive in later tonight. (Zing, I think).
But yeah, something comes across as a little processed in what I've heard of her solo work. Can't deny it's infectious, tho.

Search Sister Sin on this forum. There's a coupla of threads dedicated to them. They got slightly more polished as they went on, but their albums are all pretty good in my opinion. The earlier ones are more gritty and metal. A few songs popped up in my car mix the other day.

Sister Sin's "True Sound Of The Underground" is a great album IMO.

I saw Sister Sin open for Faster Pussycat back in 2008 shortly after Switchblade Serenades came out. I really haven't followed them or Liv since, but she definitely is a talented vocalist and performer.

Thanks for the roadmap! Two albums in so far, Switchblade Serenades is like some kind of unspoken masterpiece!
(also, sorry everyone for the unnecessary post; would've posted in Sister Sin thread had I known)
