If I'm not mistaken, this means Wolf Hoffmann is now the sole original member still in the band.

Best wishes to him in his future endeavors.

Yeah, it's only Wolf now. They've been on a steady decline since Blood Of The Nations. Maybe it's time to pack it in.

A follow up post from the band only sez that Peter "needed to make a change in his life," which doesn't really explain anything.

I wish him luck. Maybe he will join up with some other familiar names after some time away and kick out the Metal again? Time will tell.

Accept have announced two new additions to the lineup -- bassist Martin Motnik (who?), and for their current symphonic tour at least, a lady violin player (?) who's "a descendant of Bengali royalty," for whatever that's worth.

"For the orchestra shows, we decided to pair an electric guitar with a violin, making for an interesting duet, and Ava-Rebekah Rahman takes it to a whole other level," said Hoffmann. "The show is still very METAL, but with a classical touch."

They already released a "symphonic" live album/DVD back in 2017... but I guess Wolf is having so much fun with that stuff that he's gonna keep pimping it.

I'm interested in how these guys have had such a steady decline since Mark joined. One could easily rate the albums great to passable from first to last. My first instinct is to blame it on the progressive absence of the familiar "Accept Attitude," going from nasty and ferocious to rather typical. Kind of like what happened with Metal Heart, no?

I've never been a fan of the whole symphonic thing, and IMO it's taking things to a different class whereas classic Accept is street-level, kind of gross, raw, and bites like a motherfucker.

I think Stalingrad is the strongest, the first five songs are incredible.
