I'm not sure what to think of this. A 72 year old bad ass beating up and killing men half his age? Seems a bit farfetched but who knows, it may play out right and be a decent movie.

Makes sense. Kind of reminds me of Eastwood in Gran Torino. He's old in that movie and pretty tough. but I still haven't seen Rambo 3 or 4. No idea what the plot is about this one. Maybe terrorists invade his farm and do some cow tipping.

This is what that link posts about the plot :
"living in a ranch in Arizona, deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can.
When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her grand-daughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster.
What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring. He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord."
That was from back in May so the story may have changed. Maybe he'll take on some cattle rustlers and help a widowed woman protect her land from grabbers and claim jumpers.

Well I was hoping the last Rambo movie was his last one, because it was a really good movie, and a perfect way to end it. It was my favorite since the original First Blood. The new one might be good, but he's a Vietnam vet, he's getting too old to be Rambo imo.

The trailer looks good, so I hope this next installment is just that. I loved the last movie and thought that it was a perfect ending to the Rambo saga, so I'm not sure this needed to happen. I actually thought that both the last Rambo and Rocky movies "might" have been the best in the franchise. I saw them as less formulaic and written, directed and acted very well.

Hell yeah, I think I might have to do the same. Not a huge fan of them all, but still fan enough to have myself a marathon.
