Deathless - Killer Speed/Thrash Metal

I can’t believe that I never heard of these guys. Killer 80s/90s speed/thrash metal with dynamic vocals (amazing considering English is the second language). I was also surprised to hear they have reformed and are currently creating new material. Really hoping a label like Retroactive, Thrashback, NLTMR or Roxx are looking into remastering these demos and the new material. Really good stuff that deserves a proper release.

Great band! Definitely needs a proper CD release and when it happens reserve me one!

The music is decent but the vocals aren't very good.

Dynamic. So often thrash vocals resort to simple monotone barking. This guy’s range is killer! For example just listen at the 5:20 mark through the end of the song. Definitely melodic with some great range (e.g., 5:51 Mark). The vocal style and range and overall vibe of this brand of speed metal is just an awesome combination in my opinion. Very similar to the early Deliverance brand of speed metal.

I tried. I gave a few listens and it just doesn't cut it to me. I wanted to laugh but I know the guy is trying so... I prefer harsh vocals in my thrash. Thrash is supposed to be pissed off, and this doesn't show any anger in my opinion. I don't hear the Deliverance influence at all either. I guess we just like different stuff.

Was referring to Deliverance in terms of speed metal with melodic vocals. Yeah, different tastes I guess.
