| Overdrive- Swords & Axes Cheesy lyrics, accents, and bonus cuts on the CD can't hide the brilliance of this album. Power dirge "Broken Hearted" is my fave. These guys don't come across as very happy.
Oz- Fire in the Brain Fire in the brain is what you get after having nothing for breakfast but a liter of Finlandia and a Nasty Savage cassette. Recorded in Sweden I think, but they aren't fooling anyone. Their foul attitude betrays the fact that they are Finns, drunken Finns.
Torch-s/t (Warlock) Another pretty mean album. Some people prefer Electakiss, but I like this one. It rocks.
Silver Mountain-Universe Melodic, but deep and interesting. One of the many slightly awkward Swedish bands of that era.

| Its amazing to think Sweden had such a great metal scene in the early to mid 80's that pound for pound matched the UK scene (NWOBHM) at the same time. Chuck in Heavy Load and Europe's first with those and you got some great swedish steel from the early days. | |

| I own all of these albums and I agree that all are superb. I even have all of the Overdrive albums autographed by the entire band. Great stuff! | |

| Oz's Fire In The Brain is an outstanding album. it's the only one of theirs that i went crazy about. the rest of their albums just sound lazy to me. _________________ | |

I just bought all four off of ebay...thanks. Never heard them, but after I saw this started looking and found a couple of reviews and they seem really cool. The same guy had them up, so I thought, why not. I'd save on shipping. Can't wait to hear them.

No they are CD's. So does that mean they are CDR's.

| i don't know if they're cdrs neither do i care...and sure everything from heavy load on cd is a pirate-the band never authorised anyone for cd releases(after all thy disbanded long time before cds)....no matter what would some others tell you...even their japanese cds with obi are boots(and i know this straightly from ragne, so i don't need anyone to tell me the opposite)....their japanese vinyl pressings, which i also have with obi etc, are legit...... |
