Watching the weather really closely since there's a storm coming in here this weekend and I'm scheduled to be flying to FLA Monday to visit my mom.  Right now it looks like mostly rain but originally they were saying it looked a lot like the storm that brought us a foot of snow last weekend.

^^^ That must be the same storm coming this weekend. It may give us up to a foot of snow or a lot of rain OR a mixture. It all depends on the way it tracks and no one is committing to a solid forecast...yet. It doesn't matter to me since I won't have to try to get to work in that slop.

As a general rule whatever we get ends up sliding up the East Coast.

Looks like the storm coming in is pretty "meh" compared to the one we had last week; maybe 3 inches.  And most of the foot of snow we got last weekend is gone.  The big news with this front is the COLD that's coming behind it.  Right now the predicted low for Sunday night is zero.

We are supposed to get frigid after this storm moves through as well. Our snow should be more significant.

The big storm is moving in today but now their forecasting more warm air so it's cutting back on our accumulation. We are supposed to get 3-6 inches now. No matter, I have plenty of beer and a ton of movies I could watch.

We dodged a bullet today.

Originally we were supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow but we got next to nothing,

It IS freakin' cold though; the "feels-like" temp tonight is supposed to be below zero. 

I guess I'm glad I'm flying to Florida on Monday even if it does mean staying with my mom.

Well they totally got the storm wrong here. We got mostly rain but it switched over to snow early this morning and we only got about an inch or two. It's now going to get bitter cold with highs in the teens for a today and tomorrow.
