Same here. I got into them around the time Once came out and then scrambled to get their back catalogue. I try to stay interested after Tarja left, but found the replacement singer's (Anette?) voice to be really limited. Then I pretty most lost interest in the genre shortly thereafter and have no idea what their more recent albums sound like.

Plus Tuomas' tendency to write long, theatrical, "Lion King"-sounding, pretentious songs went totally unchecked once Tarja left.  I almost was going to give them another shot once they enlisted Floor Jansen to replace Annette but the musical style is soooooo not my thing anymore.

But I think revisiting the early Tarja albums will be more like a nostalgia trip for me so I think I'll give them a listen again.
