Reb Beach is my favorite of these. I love his work on all of the Winger albums, Dokken's Erase the Slate and the last few Whitesnake albums. Killer live performer too.

I always loved Vivian Campbell's work on those first 2 Dio albums. I went with him. But that's quite a fine list of guitarists.

When I got into hard rock in the late 80s, Reb was the first player that blew my mind with his smooth but very fast soloing. Back then I really liked the first Winger album, but moved on quickly to much heavier bands. But I still like Reb's playing.

Although I chose Paul Gilbert, I also like Warren DeMartini, Mattias Jabs, Reb Beach, Wolf Hoffman and Glenn Tipton.

In a very close race: Warren DeMartini > Glenn Tipton > Vivian Campbell > Mathias Jabs > Wolf Hoffman. This is a list, depending on my mood, could change by the day.
