Actually a love-thread for this Jackson Browne tune. I like a lot of his stuff, but this tune, and the scene in Fast Times that it will always be attached to, makes me feel young every time.

I used to hate Jackson Browne back when FM radio played "Running on Empty" constantly. But I've since come to appreciate the man's talent. "Somebody's Baby" is a good tune and that flick is chock full of them. Fast Times is also the reason my favorite Cars song is "Moving In Stereo".

Like Toho, I used a huge disdain for Jackson Browne's music, but as an adult I grew up to appreciate his music.

A few months back, I delved into Jackson Browne's catalog (70's stuff). I found myself really enjoying much of what he had to offer. He always seemed like a pretty deep person and it really showed on the album "Late For the Sky" (1974). The whole album is amazing and I really appreciate the cover art. The self titled is probably my favorite or "The Late Show"

Late for the Sky is one of my favorite albums ever. It gives me the chills almost every time I jam it.
