I have the CD "ONLY CHILD". He's the singer. Cool raspy sexy voice.
It blows me away just how much like Whitesnake it is.
Great love songs, also has " Scream Until You Like It " - the original !
Way better than the WASP version. More darker. Odder.

MALICE has a song on a E.P 'Vice Versa' - Sabu sings it, for some reason.
Anyways, anyone familiar with any of his other releases - recommendations ?
Or what to stay away from ?
He has over ten releases out....

Also,
I always liked Paul Shortino's raspy voice also.
Rob Malnati - Exciter release, CRYPT.
Any other singers that have that vocal style ....?

I bought SABU - " Heartbreak " CD.

I know it's love songs - with keyboards - but again -
it rocks !
Took my chances - but his voice - and lyric writing -
fun and wild stuff.
I'm surprised he never became famous.

Never heard of him being in concert - in the 80's ?
He had to tour - opening for some band.
The sound is like Europe meets Whitesnake.

I know his name, mainly cuz of "Scream Until You Like It."

He was one of those song-doctor types who wrote stuff for a lot of different artists but never really broke thru under his own name.

He's known for his film scoring work too, I still see his name in the credits of a lot of "B" movies and TV shows in the '80s/'90s. I'm always like "Oh yeah, the Scream Until You Like It guy." haha

Yeah, I'm like you Freddy, I know "of him" cuz he shows up in some of my searches for "hair metal" or "arena rock" on ebay but I have never sampled anything on youtube or heavy harmonies.
