I appreciate the simplicity of characters, the ones you can relate to, the blue collar guy. There's this over indulgence regarding the spectacular and how it quickly escalates from the sublime to the ridiculous. I love Marvel and superheroes, but I want there to be a clear distinction between human beings and superheroes. Regarding a female playing Higgins, it doesn't bother me, as I think it would be impossible to replicate what John Hillerman created. I can still hear and see the "Oh My God", which would be stated every so often, when it came down to something Higgins was irritated by when it came to Magnum. Regarding the Ferrari, we seriously saw it already destroyed twice??? This looks like it's clearly aimed at the Fast & the Furious culture, so the demo over 30 something will probably give it a chance, but I'm guessing will eventually abandon it.
