The end of the year is almost here. So what are some of the albums you're looking forward to in 2018?

Loudness, judas priest and udo to name a few.

I guess megadeth and metal church will be releasing new material in 2018, right?

I don't really know what's coming. I guess Priest and Axxis, and whichever personal favourites happen to put out a new album.

No idea. The only one I know for sure coming out is Loudness Rise To Glory. I guess Judas Priest, too?

(shrugs) Doesn't matter. I'll still be catching up on all the sh*t I didn't buy in 2017

I'm really looking forward to hearing the three new Dokken tracks with Lynch and Pilsen that will be on the live album.

I'm also excited to hear the new albums from:

Age Sten Nilsen's Ammunition
W.E.T. (probably my favorite Jeff Scott Soto project)
Tora Tora
Bulletboys
Voodoo Circle (though I have no idea what their new lead vocalist sounds like. David Readman will be hard to replace)

Judas Priest, hopefully a new king Diamond album/DVD, and maybe Tool (LOL yeah right)!

Can't wait for this.

I just revisited the press release and indeed they have signed with Frontiers and will begin recording in 2018. However, it seems as though they are not anticipating the album coming out until early 2019. Let's hope the timeline changes, as I am also looking forward to new music from those guys. They seem like the kind of musicians that will want to stick to the sound and style that they had on their first two albums, and even on Revolution Day, which I like quite a bit.

Tom Keifer is in the same boat, with the plan being to record at some point in 2018 and release a new record in 2019.

I think Crashdiet will release a new album this year as well (a new single is on the way). That said, they now have yet another lead singer. It's getting hard to consider this band as a single entity.

Hopefully that Tora Tora album will be released next year. The sooner the better IMO.

Yeah, the singers in Crashdiet are like the drummers in Spinal Tap. I hope the new singer doesn't just spontaneous explode while making the album.

Stephen Pearcy has been tweeting about new Ratt in 2018.......we shall see

Stone Temple Pilots are supposed to be releasing a new album, I like the new singer.
I think “Meadow” is quite good.

Tool's new album seems to be the Chinese Democracy of the 2010s.
