| MLB Network is reporting that former Major League pitcher Roy Halladay has died when his plane crashed.

| I always liked Halladay because of his "bulldog mentality" on the mound. Even though he never played for St. Louis he was good friends with Chris Carpenter so I always heard about what he was up to.

| That no hitter against the Reds a few years ago in the playoffs was awesome. Roy was a great competitor no matter who he played for. Another sad tragic event involving someone who had what was most likely another 40 years ahead of him. | |
